| Contents | Professor Ochiai conducted a survey on the burden of housework and childcare among those who had themselves or family members telecommute as a result of the spread of the new coronavirus. The survey highlighted the reality that women are forced to bear the burden, especially in families with children. Professor Ochiai commented, "It is unreasonable to think that the children who are absent from school should be taken care of by the family members who have become telecommuting workers. I hope that measures will be taken in accordance with the actual conditions of each community and family. |
