Professor Ochiai conducted a web survey of "those who have experienced telecommuting either by themselves or by family members living with them due to the new corona. The increased burden of housework and childcare was heaviest on "women with children. In some cases, the husband's work takes priority even when both spouses work from home. On the other hand, more than 40% of both men and women with children cited "improved family relations" as a "positive aspect of telecommuting," and in some cases, "sharing of housework and childcare has improved. |
