However, compensation under the government's corona measures is only considered for paid work by companies and other organizations, and "free labor" in the home is not even discussed. Professor Ochiai says, "Childcare, education, and nursing care are the infrastructure of society, and household chores, including these, support and protect people's lives. Society should have a sense of crisis about the situation that could destroy the women who put their lives on the line to take on household chores. |
