If there is to be a "new way of life," the core of it must be "life-first.The criterion for determining "life priority" is "whether one can have a life." Academically, there is a view that the object of labor in economics includes not only labor that has become a commodity, but also free labor such as housework and childcare, or shadow work.However, the situation cannot stand if women remain primarily responsible for unpaid care work. A society that can successfully balance paid/unpaid labor requires a readjustment of the division of labor based on gender. |
