Contents The government's series of responses to the Corona disaster were all about financial compensation through absence from work or leave of absence, and while promoting stay-homes, there was no consideration of who would be responsible for care in the "home. If there is to be a "new way of life," the core of it must be "life-first.The criterion for determining "life priority" is "whether one can have a life." Academically, there is a view that the object of labor in economics includes not only labor that has become a commodity, but also free labor such as housework and childcare, or shadow work. However, the situation cannot stand if women remain primarily responsible for unpaid care work. A society that can successfully balance paid/unpaid labor requires a readjustment of the division of labor based on gender.
